Grade - They can now earn paws.
 Bobcats -
The first step after registering as a cub scout is to pass the Bobcat Requirements:
- Learn and give the Cub scout promise
- Explain and recite the Law of
the Pack
- Explain the meaning of
Webelo
- Give and explain the Cub Scout sign and handshake
 Wolves
- The boy must pass 12 Achievements involving simple physical and mental skills
- When the 12 achievements are completed, the boy receives his wolf badge
- He then begins working on more than 100 elective projects aimed at exciting his interest in new hobbies and skills
- After ten electives, he earns a Silver Arrow Point
 Bears
- The Bear is the rank for boys who have completed second grade
- He must complete 24 Bear
achievements, 12 to earn the Bear badge
- After earning the Bear badge, he may work on credits toward Bear arrow points
 Webelo 1st and 2nd year
- Last Step before Boy Scouts
- The
Webelo rank is for boys who have completed third grade or are age 10
- Webelo is the first step from Den to Boy Scout troop
